Why Collision Assistant exists.

After an accident, the next step is rarely clear. Choosing a body shop usually happens on a bad day, and it comes with calls to an adjuster, a tow yard and a rental desk.

Collision Assistant was built to take that work off your plate. We are built on the repair side, because shop relationships and repair timelines are where most delays begin. From there, we manage the whole vehicle side of the claim, from the first estimate to the final repair.

What we do.

Our core service is full property damage claim management: claim setup, estimates, supplements, rental and towing coordination, total loss review and one complete file.

We also offer a body shop recommendation: one vetted shop matched to your car, the damage and your location, with the estimate set up for you.

Both are available anywhere in California. Every referral is made by Collision Assistant, and our network directory is private.

How we work.

Four commitments shape every file Collision Assistant handles. Each one is something you can hold us to.

Shops checked first

Every shop we recommend holds an active registration with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. We check it before we refer anyone.

Your choice stays yours

We never steer you away from a shop you picked. Under California Insurance Code Section 758.5, no insurer can require a specific shop either.

One case, one file

Estimates, supplements, invoices, rental records and insurer letters sit under one case number, so the record matches what happened.

Updates you can count on

You hear from us at each stage of the repair, by phone, email or text if you agreed, until your keys are back.

What Collision Assistant is not.

Collision Assistant is not a law firm, insurer or medical provider, and we do not give legal, insurance or medical advice. We do not negotiate or settle claims, and we never sign anything for you.

Insurance companies decide whether a claim is covered and how much they pay. For questions about fault, injuries or a lawsuit, speak with a licensed California attorney. For coverage questions, speak with your insurance company.

The repair shops in our network are independent businesses, not owned, employed or controlled by Collision Assistant. We are not affiliated with any insurance company, direct repair program or law firm, and your repair agreement is with the shop you choose.
