We call you back
A coordinator asks about the damage, whether the car drives and whether an insurance claim is open.
Send Collision Assistant a few details about your car and the accident, and a coordinator will call you back to set up a written repair estimate with a vetted shop in our California network. The request is free, and if you have an insurance claim, we can manage the property damage side of it at no cost to you.
Tell us about your car. A coordinator will call you back.
Four steps take your car from a request to a written estimate and a tracked repair. You decide at each one.
01
A coordinator asks about the damage, whether the car drives and whether an insurance claim is open.
02
We make a body shop recommendation that fits your car and location, or work with a shop you already trust.
03
The shop inspects the car and gives you an itemized written estimate before any work, as California law requires.
04
If you want, our property damage claim management covers the rest, with updates until your car is back.

Yes. Requesting a quote through Collision Assistant is free, and so are our body shop recommendation and claim coordination. The shop gives you an itemized written estimate before any work starts, and under California Business and Professions Code Section 9884.9, it cannot charge more than that estimate without your consent.
No. You can request a repair quote with or without an insurance claim, and if you have one, we can pass the claim number to the shop with your OK so it can work with the insurer. If you have not filed yet, read how to file a car insurance claim.
A Collision Assistant coordinator reviews each request and contacts you by phone or email, or by text if you agreed to receive text messages. If your car is at a tow yard or your rental is about to end, mention it in the message or call 562-800-6904 so we can start with the most urgent item first.
